Julian is also a charity fundraiser, digital content producer, event director (Film Festival/Music Festivals & Charity Fund Raisers), film-funder and production accountant. Julian engages with film students in the UK and overseas, via lectures, mentoring, work experience and production workshops leading to an invitation to participate in a UN WOMEN Panel ‘Women in Film,’ Bharia University, Islamabad), and nomination/acceptance of, a Fellowship of the Royal Society of the Arts.

In November 2018 Julian directed an exhibition of photography and art created by Veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Curated by Army veteran Leo Stokes, the former Irish Guardsman who uses art and poetry to help deal with his PTSD. The event highlight was an inspirational Q&A with Terry Brazier who focused on becoming a double world champion MMA fighter. The two former soldiers completed the event with an open Q&A session about the struggles they have had with their mental health.
